What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, company (if given), phone number, email address, whether you are buying or selling, and your message.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry and help you buy or sell equipment. Our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
No automatic marketing
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or add you to our WhatsApp group. Private WhatsApp enquiries and group membership are separate.
Website analytics
When website analytics is enabled, we measure actions such as clicks to call or send a private WhatsApp enquiry, starting the enquiry form, and whether a submission succeeds or fails. Form submission events include only the selected buyer/seller category, not your name, contact details, message or enquiry reference. Clicking a contact link does not tell us whether you completed a call or conversation.
WhatsApp stock and deals group
Our group links open a WhatsApp invitation. You choose whether to join by following the steps in WhatsApp; opening the link alone does not add you. The group is for regular stock and deals updates, with only admins able to send messages. By joining, you choose to receive these updates. We use your WhatsApp number and available profile information to manage membership and share updates in the group. Other group members can see your phone number, and your profile information may be visible depending on your WhatsApp privacy settings. You can leave at any time using the group information screen in WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a third-party service with its own privacy terms.
How enquiries reach us
When the online form is available, your details are sent to our team by email using Resend, our transactional email provider. New enquiries are not saved in this website’s database. Our mailbox and email provider process and may retain the email and delivery records; we keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond and meet our legal obligations. Older enquiries submitted before the email-only service may remain in our database under the same retention approach. We do not send automatic confirmation emails to customers. If the form is unavailable, please call or message us on WhatsApp.
Sharing
We use our email provider and mailbox service to handle enquiry messages. We do not sell your details. We will only pass enquiry details to a buyer, seller or transport partner with your agreement, as part of arranging a sale. If you choose to join our WhatsApp group, your phone number is visible to other group members as explained above.
